Common Front General Assembly Over 90 labour and community groups meet to establish a Common Front, opposing unfair budget cuts that target poor and middle-class families while rewarding banks and corporations. All are welcome at this meeting, which occurs the day before the major demonstration at Queen’s Park. The Common Front meeting takes place from 3 pm to 6 at the Church of the Holy Trinity. Toronto Art Expo More than 200 galleries and artists set up booths in this art fair with an emphasis on affordable works. Also featured are art and dance performances from Asia and the French-speaking world. Runs to Sunday at the Toronto Convention Centre. See listing.
