A sad farewell to another Toronto cyclist – Advocacy for Respect For Cyclists hosts a memorial ride for Jack Roper, a cyclist in his 80’s who was killed last Friday at Greenwood and Plains Road in East York. A group ride begins at 8 am at Bloor and Spadina and proceeds to the sight of crash for 9 am.

Courvoisier Collective It seems odd that a cognac manufacturer would fund emerging artists and artwork showcasing “the transforming power of art,” but here it is, curated by filmmaker Paul Lee, artist Aries Cheung and artist/curator Camilla Singh, among others.
