Non-Violence Conference This important two-day conference, obviously planned before Occupy Toronto set its demo for October 15, will now include a how-to for non-violent action in the financial district, as well. The meet features James Loney, Lyn Adamson, Alex Speers-Roesch and many others. Tonight’s keynote is by Ramin Jahanbegloo, a U of T Centre of Ethics prof, who was placed in solitary confinement for four months in Tehran and charged with preparing a velvet revolution in that country. 7 pm.
