Prison Moratorium Action Coalition With the fed’s prison expansion and proposed crime bill S-10 setting mandatory sentences, a group of activists, academics, drug-users and former prisoners meet to discuss strategies for organizing against institutions and legal practices that don’t make our community safe. 6-8 pm. Kristie MacDonald Toronto artist MacDonald’s Home And Away explores the personal archive through postcards the artist collected in flea markets. The installation includes printmaking, sculpture and a printing press concealed in a dresser. Reception tonight at Open Studio Gallery. See listing.
