Vigil for Kimy Pernia Domico The indigenous activist who disappeared in Colombia ten years ago, was well known to social justice folks in this country. Many of us saw him at the Summit of the Americas protest in Quebec just weeks before he was taken by forces unknown. Now, in commemoration of his work, KAIROS, Amnesty International and others host a candlelight vigil at the Colombian Consul 6:30. Free. Yonge and Dundas. See listing.

Transit Kitchen Berlin-based duo Folke Köbberling and Martin Kaltwasser, who’ve created projects with recycled materials in Germany, Poland, Britain and after the Vancouver Olympics, set up in Union Station to film their interactive “cooking show” that involves questioning Torontonians about traffic, public transit, cycling and pedestrian movements.
