Sisters in Spirit This is the day set aside to honor the lives of Canada’s missing and murdered aboriginal women and girls and demand governmental action. Beauty In Yushu Planet In Focus film festival presents a show of photographs by Dr. Roman Elinson depicting the changes rapid industrialization is bringing to the Tibetan town of Yushu. In 04 and 07, Elinson took part in medical missions to Yushu, which was levelled by an earthquake in 2010 and has been closed to visitors since, so his photos now serve as a kind of memorial.
