Humberto Vélez Collaborations seem to be a strong suit of artists from Latin America (see Alfredo Jaar, Vik Muniz). This retrospective of performance work by Panama-born, UK-based Vélez, whose practice involves international collaborations with indigenous people, refugees, rappers, body-builders and other outsiders, opens tonight at the Art Gallery of York University.
