I Love You Phillip Morris The wonderful and wonderfully gay Jim Carrey flick snuck into Toronto for a limited engagement last week. Don’t miss it. See times and watch a trailer here.

Carlos Olivier Assayas’s epic look at terrorist Carlos “the Jackal” did well at Cannes, won a Golden Globe for best miniseries (it was broadcast on U.S. TV so was ineligible for the Oscars) and has been a star-making vehicle for Edgar Ramirez. See it in its entirely tonight at the Revue before its DVD release. See listing.

The Adjustment Bureau Matt Damon: romantic lead? He’s pretty fantastic in this combination thriller, romance, sci-fi meditation on existence. So’s Emily Blunt, in her best work since The Devil Wears Prada. See interview with the up-and-coming director George Nolfi and review.
