One of the biggest artists in the world is gearing up to perform a three-day run in Toronto, using his loop pedal to bring a mostly one-man show to the Rogers Centre.

Singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran will be gracing the downtown stage, bringing hits from nearly his entire discography, including “The A Team,” “Thinking Out Loud,” and “Bad Habits.”

The LOOP Tour is expected to draw an audience of more than 40,000 fans nightly, even treating them to covers of songs Sheeran wrote and sold to other artists and musical groups.

Here’s everything fans need to know before the show.

Set times

Doors at the Rogers Centre are expected to open around 4:30.

Sheeran has three openers before his performance.

The show is set to start around 5:30, with women’s Irish folk group BIIRD opening up the night.

Soon after, the pop band Lukas Graham, known for their hit song “7 Years,” will grace the stage around 6 p.m. to keep the energy up.

Finally, Myles Smith warms up the stage ahead of Sheeran’s set, bringing both folk and pop vibes to the arena.

Sheeran gets the main event started around 8 p.m., with a set ranging from pop, rap, folk, and soft rock that lasts more than two hours.

The show is expected to end right before 11 p.m.

Getting to Rogers Centre

The Rogers Centre venue is in a prime location for commuters, with the venue just a short walk away from Union Station.

GO Transit users can take the train or bus to Union, while TTC users can do the same. After that, the arena is about a 10-minute walk from the venue on street level or through the PATH system, which brings fans right outside the Rogers Centre and CN Tower.

Those driving in can use parking in the area, including garage parking for the Metropolitan Convention Centre. Be sure to arrive early as spots are limited, and prices can increase closer to show time.

Tickets

A limited number of tickets are still available on Ticketmaster.
