The last weekend of summer may not feel like it at all, with temperatures lower than usual for the season. Despite this, there is still plenty to do across the city ahead of the fall season.
From TIFF wrapping up to night festivals, to mouth-watering foodie events, Torontonians of all interests have something to do this weekend!

Friday, Sept. 18
Bloorcourt Nuit Nuit
Location: Bloor and Dufferin, just east at Bloor St W and Bartlett Ave
Time: 3:00 pm – 10:30 pm
This one-night-only event transforms a Bloorcourt area parking lot into a night market, with activities, food and shopping to discover.
The Green P lot will be filled with shopping, art, live music, connection, and snacks. Attendees are also able to complete an activity passport to win prizes. DJ Spence Diamonds will be on deck to spin out the night with music to jam out to while you explore the market.
RELISH The Foodie Event
Location: Cloverdale Mall, 250 The East Mall, Etobicoke
Time: Sep 18, 2026 at 05:00 pm – 09:00 pm, Sep 19, 2026 at 11:00 am – 09:00 pm, Sep 20, 2026 at 11:00 am – 07:00 pm
This annual food festival is returning to Cloverdale Mall, bringing a weekend of incredible eats, live entertainment, interactive workshops, family fun, and community celebration.
Cloverdale Mall also celebrates its 70th anniversary, meaning the event will be filled with birthday-themed experiences. Be sure to enjoy an open-air cocktail garden featuring handcrafted drinks, various adult activities like a paint-and-sip, and live entertainment all weekend long.
Catch a Toronto Tempo game
Location: Coca-Cola Coliseum, 45 Manitoba Dr
Time: 7:30 p.m.
The WNBA returned on Thursday, and Toronto’s very own Tempo are set to face the Indiana Fever on Friday.
The Indiana Fever won 101-95 against the Tempo in their last matchup. Will Toronto be able to redeem themselves in their first game since the break?
Saturday Sept. 19
Breakfast with a Pirate: A Morning of Adventure
Location: Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada
Time: 08:00 a.m. to 09:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m. to 01:30 p.m.
Enjoy a breakfast buffet along with a pirate guest this weekend!
Guests will get the chance to take pictures with the on-site pirate, hear their tales of the seven seas, and explore sea and ocean life throughout the aquarium. The event also gives attendees a chance to check out the aquarium’s new exhibit, Graffiti Reef: Painted by Nature, take home a new marine pal, and try a custom cookie.
Queen West Art Crawl 2026
Location: Trinity Bellwoods Park, 790 Queen St. W.
Time: 11:00 a.m.
The annual art crawl at Trinity Bellwoods Park is back!
The festival will be in full swing Saturday and Sunday, allowing guests to check out free entertainment, food, shopping, and activities throughout the space, including an Indigenous drum circle, works of art by around 100 local artists, and a main stage with multiple live performances throughout the weekend.
Playdate at Stackd
Location: Stackt Market, 28 Bathurst St
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A disco dance party, shopping, and live performances are just some of the activities to check out this weekend at the popular vendor market.
Guests can experience a full day of food, shopping, dancing, and good vibes, with the event spotlighting around 30 vendors, various activities to engage with, and spaces to hang out – even alongside your dog!
Sunday, Sept. 20

This weekend marks the last days of the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
With 100s of movies still screening over the weekend, be sure to check out what showtimes are still available to sit in on and enjoy various genres within the film space. TIFF ends on Sunday.
Long Branch Tree Fest
Location: Marie Curtis Park, 2 Forty Second St, Etobicoke
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This free, family-friendly event celebrates trees and nature alongside the community.
Attendees will learn how to identify common tree species on a Guided Tree Walk, how to manage and care for the trees found in backyards, and general gardening tips to keep in mind. There are also activities for younger arborists, where they can participate in a range of nature-based crafts, face painting, and storytelling under the trees.
Constantine Yorkville Run
Location: 61 Davenport Rd
Time: 8:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The Constantine Yorkville Run is a premier marathon that will have over 1000 local participants running in support of more than 30 Toronto charities. Participate in a run filled with good vibes while also supporting multiple causes across the city!
