Building on previous service expansions
The new service follows a pilot project that operated between 2021 and 2023, when GO Train service was temporarily extended beyond Kitchener to Stratford and London, with a stop in St. Marys.
The announcement also builds on recent expansions to the Kitchener Line, including the introduction of the first-ever weekend GO Train service between Toronto and Kitchener, along with two new weekday express trips between Kitchener and Union Station.
