Graffiti bridge

A back-and-forth between graffitists and anti-graffitists in Moore Park.

[rssbreak]

The slogans appear on a rail bridge snaking through tony Moore Park.

There, emerging from the woods like a marquee for a local revolution, a war for the hearts and minds of passersby is being waged between an anonymous guerrilla scrawler with a message of peace. And anti-graffiti crews with gallons of paint just as eager to wipe the message from our consciousness.

The year-long battle has gone into overdrive in recent months. Ever more defiant slogans from revolutions past – We Are Winning and Venceremos – now echo from the cement walls underneath the bridge. Quick reaction force, we love you.
