Complete Streets is a forum to discuss competing for streets. Bikes, pedestrians, police on horses, and also cars. Toronto Coalition for Active Transportation (TCAT) organized the event at the Royal York. The Mayor will be there, as well as officials from Mississauga and New York City.

Public Mobile got the go-ahead from the CRTC, adding to already established Wind Mobile as another wireless carrier outside the big three. Public Mobile, as opposed to Wind, is wholly Canadian-owned and operated. Though Wind has a better font on its advertisements. Here’s how Public Mobile works.

Save Transit City, the movement to salvage the city’s plan to get adequate public transit, is gaining momentum, but not that much momentum. The campaign asks supporters to phone the province to urge funding, but the province says it’s only getting about 45 calls a day. That’s 2 per cent of total calls. Can we get it up to 10 per cent?[rssbreak]
