What to know

  • Hayu FanFest is coming to Toronto for the first time on March 20, 2027.
  • The event celebrates popular reality TV franchises, including The Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, Summer House and more.
  • Hayu has hosted similar fan events internationally, including in Sydney, Australia, featuring appearances from reality TV personalities.
  • Fans can sign up through Hayu’s website to receive updates about tickets, celebrity appearances and event details.

Reality TV’s biggest stars are stepping away from the cameras and into the city as Hayu FanFest makes its Toronto debut next year.

The reality TV streaming service announced that its fan convention will take place in Toronto on March 20, 2027, bringing fans of some of television’s biggest unscripted series together for a day dedicated to all things reality TV.

“Block the calendar, activate the group chat, and remember, Hayu FanFest should be fun!” the company said in a social media post announcing the event.

Hayu has established itself as a major streaming destination for reality TV fans, with a catalogue dedicated to unscripted programming. Its lineup includes popular franchises and series such as The Real Housewives, Love Island, Vanderpump Rules and Summer House, alongside original programming, including The Real Housewives of London.

The streaming service is closely connected to Bravo, the television network behind many of the reality shows available on Hayu. Both brands are owned by NBCUniversal, making the fan event another opportunity to bring some of the biggest names in reality television closer to their audiences.

The Toronto announcement comes shortly after Bravo wrapped up its own Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina, on Oct. 24, bringing together some of the network’s biggest reality TV personalities for a weekend of events.

While details about Toronto’s Hayu FanFest remain limited, similar fan conventions typically feature cast appearances, meet-and-greets, photo opportunities, live panels and surprise appearances from fan-favourite reality stars.

The announcement also comes as Hayu continues to expand its original programming. Earlier this year, the service announced that Summer House Canada had begun production, bringing the popular reality franchise north of the border with an entirely new cast of Canadian personalities.

Hayu has also hosted FanFest events in other international markets, including Sydney, Australia, in August. That event even featured a DJ set from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks.

Although the Toronto event’s full lineup, venue and ticketing details have yet to be announced, fans can sign up through Hayu’s website to receive updates and be among the first to know when more information becomes available.
