Winning designs from this year’s Winter Stations Design Competition were unveiled along Kew Beach on Monday (February 15). This years winners, selected as part of a contest to transform lifeguard stations into art installations, will be open to the public for viewing along Kew, Scarborough and Balmy beaches until March 20.
Winning designs include a collaboration between Calgary artists Caitlind r.c Brown, Wayne Garrett and Lane Shordee for The Belly of a Bear and Sauna by FFLO (Claire Furnley and James Fox).
