The Jonas Brothers are coming back to Toronto, and they’re bringing a major dose of nostalgia with them.
Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas surprised fans Monday by announcing The Burning Up Tour All Over Again, a massive 45-city North American tour that revisits the era of their iconic 2008 Burnin’ Up tour.
The tour will kick off with three shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden later this week before expanding across North America this fall. The newly announced run was prompted by overwhelming demand for the sold-out New York shows.
And for Canadian fans, there’s only one stop: Toronto.
The Jonas Brothers are scheduled to take over the RBC Amphitheatre on Sept. 27, giving Toronto fans another chance to see the trio live just weeks after their latest tour wrapped up on Aug. 8.
Toronto is no stranger to the Jonas Brothers. Last year the band brought their “JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour” to the city, following a surprise performance at Massey Hall that was filmed for their holiday movie, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie.
Now, they’re returning with a tour built around one of the most nostalgic eras of their career.
The new tour will feature special guests on select dates, including Magnus Ferrell, Franklin Jonas and All Time Low.
For the Toronto show, Deleasa is currently listed as the special guest.
Fans looking to grab tickets won’t have to wait long. The artist presale begins Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. local time, while tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. local time.
