Local dancing boy makes good

This video is about to become a lot more popular.

Local man Phil Villeneuve has made many videos showcasing himself dancing in public spaces. But this one will probably be his most famous. Taking advantage of one of our lovely scramble crossings (which allow pedestrians to cross, or bust a series of moves, diagonally), Villeneuve recorded a charmingly playful clip set to Solange’s quirky R&B single Losing You (read our review of her new EP here), which features some Toronto Argos cheerleaders joining in the fun.

Somehow Solange (aka Beyonce’s little sister) caught wind of the clip, and just tweeted her endorsement of it. Considering that her official video for the song has close to 3 million views, it seems safe to say that Villeneuve’s version won’t have much trouble breaking the 2000 view mark this afternoon.
