It is now easier for Wheel-Trans customers to schedule and manage their commutes, as the TTC has launched a new app that allows them to book their trips on their phones.

In a media release on Monday, the transit agency says the Wheel-Trans mobile app is available for both iOS and Android users, and supports most of the functions already available on the Wheel-Trans self-booking website.

The app can be used to plan both door-to-door and Family of Services (FOS) trips.

There are multiple ways for customers to use the app. First, they can book, review, modify or cancel trips at any time. Second, they can use the ‘Where is My Ride?’ option to see the vehicle location on a map in real time (currently available for buses only). Third, they can schedule and manage both door-to-door and Family of Services trips and lastly, they can receive service alerts and view trip history.

In addition to this new feature, Wheel-Trans customers can also book their trips on the Wheel-Trans self-booking website, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) or by contacting Wheel-Trans reservations.
