Torontonians are reacting to the news of Nordstrom closing all of its Canadian stores and wondering what shop will replace the huge Eaton Centre location.

Nordstrom shared their closure plans in an announcement Thursday.

The company’s e-commerce platform ceased operations yesterday and the “in-store wind-down” is anticipated to be completed by late June.

This means the flagship store in CF Toronto Eaton Centre is also set to close, which was previously a Sears.

There has been lots of Twitter reaction to the announced closure:

The question Toronto residents have now is, “What store will replace it?”

There are currently six Nordstrom stores and seven Nordstrom Rack stores in Canada, all set to close in the coming months.
