NOW’s TIFF 2013 site is live!

TIFF! Have you heard of it? Formerly, the “Toronto International Film Festival,” TIFF’s widely considered the second-most prestigious and important film festival in the world (after Cannes), and certainly the most prestigious and important public film festival. TIFF’s great because it’s not just for critics or buyers. It’s for us! The people!

So every year, NOW’s tries its dardnest to cover the festival from stem-to-stern. This year, following the success of mini-sites we’ve built for festivals like Hot Docs and Fringe, we’ve built a site dedicated exclusively to TIFF. That way, those of you how are fest-ing it up can easily track NOW’s coverage. And those of you who don’t care about TIFF can read about cronut burgers and bike parking and food restaurants and the mayor smoking pot without a constant stream of TIFF coverage tripping you up.

Some stuff to keep an eye out for…

Reviews: There’s still time to get tickets, so take a look at what NOW’s critics have to say about the films they’ve seen so far.

20 Films We Can’t Wait To See: NOW’s film writers pick some movies that have them eagerly anticipating TIFF ’13.

Red Carpet Red-y: Andrew Sardone has his guide to TIFF style.

Cover story: We profile TIFF rising star (and this week’s cover girl), Cara Gee.

Madness!: We look at how TIFF’s festival-within-a-festival, Midnight Madness, has worked to establish itself as the go-to source for genre movies over the past 25 years.

Survival Guide: If you don’t follow these tips to get through TIFF, you may literally die! Spooky.

Filmy foodies: Aguide to where to dine while stalking celebrities during the festival.

There’s lots more. So just check out the site. What are you doing even reading this? Go! Now!
