Toronto is, largely, a sea of red after last night’s election numbers came in.
The NDP took a hit in Toronto, with Beaches-East York’s Michael Prue (NDP) narrowly losing his seat to Liberal Arthur Potts, Jonah Schein losing his Davenport seat to Cristina Martins of the Liberals and Rosario Marchese losing his to Han Dong, also of the Liberals, in Trinity-Spadina.
In Etobicoke-Lakeshore, PC Doug Holyday’s stint as MP was short-lived, as Peter Milczyn of the Liberals took the riding. Thornhill’s race was tight, with PC incumbent Gila Martow losing her seat to Sandra Yeung Racco of the Liberals.
Liberal Indira-Naidoo Harris took Halton from the PC’s Ted Chudleigh.
