Real Housewife Teresa Giudice really cooks

She flips over dinner tables in fancy restaurants and she’s had the privilege of being fired by Donald Trump on Celebrity Apprentice yet the Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice still finds time to write cookbooks.

Her third New York Times’ best seller – Fabulicious! Fast & Fit: Teresa’s Low-Fat, Super-Easy Italian Recipes (Running Press, $22 paperback) – gets feted tonight with a book-signing from 6 to 8 pm at the Loblaws in the old Maple Leaf Gardens.

NOW spoke to the hot-headed Housewife on the eve of the launch.

Your new cookbook names the five foods to avoid to stay healthy. Is pasta one of them?

“You can still eat pasta but in a moderate amount, more of an appetizer size.”

Your last work – Fabulicious!: Teresa’s Italian Family Cookbook – caused considerable friction on the show. Is there anything in your new cookbook that could potentially annoy anyone?

“Jacqueline said to me that Caroline was a little upset that I hadn’t included her in my first cookbook so that’s why I put her in the second. I regret it now but I’m damned if I do and damned if I don’t. That’s why the third one has no mention of anyone.”

Is a Fabulicious cooking show in the cards?

“I would love to have a cooking shown. There is talk but we’ll see.”

Although its already on air ithe US, the fourth season of RHONJ doesn’t begin on Slice until Wednesday August 29 at 10 pm. What can we look forward to?

“This past week was an was an amazing week. Melissa admits that she spoke to Danielle. I had a feeling she had but now I know for sure. But I just let it go because I want things to be better with my brother. So I forgave her and we’re moving forward.”

Will there be a fifth season?

“We haven’t been asked yet so we’ll see what happens.”

Your weekly Bravo blogs are quite lengthy.

“I don’t think mine are half as long as anyone else’s. I don’t read Jacqueline’s but I hear from people on Twitter that all she does is write 24 pages about me. Oh my God, that’s crazy!”

Do you watch the other Housewife franchises?

“I do. I watch Beverley Hills and Atlanta. They’re very entertaining.”

Can you relate to the women on those shows?

“My thing is I don’t judge anyone. I’m not in their shoes. I see what’s happening to me on TV this season so I’m not going to go there.”

What’s the most ridiculous thing the tabloids have ever written about you?

“There’s so many! The most recent one was that I’m going to jail. I think I’d know if that was happening.”

After all the drama that’s happened on RHONJ, would you do it all over again?

“This is the thing: I signed up to do a show with some of my friends and a few people I didn’t know. Not my family. I would never have done that. But that was done behind my back so I had no choice. When I got the call from Andy Cohen the producer that my cousins and brother and sister-in-law were going to be on the show’s third season, it was like a stab in the heart. It’s sad. I’d always heard that fame did awful things to friends and family but I never thought it would happen to us.”
