In anticipation of its 25th anniversary in February, Scotiabank Arena has announced new multi-million dollar renovations aimed at enhancing the sports and entertainment venue.
The multi-phase Scotiabank Arena Venue Reimagination project will include improvements worth more than $350 million to almost all areas of the venue including concourses, suites, premium clubs, retail spaces, food and beverage offerings, state-of-the-art technological innovations and more.
This summer, the arena underwent significant renovations to remodel the 200 Level Mastercard Executive Suites level as well as upgrades in the concourses to better the food and beverage experience for fans.
In addition, other features include an all-new Mastercard Lounge, a first-of-its-kind space that provides members with an amazing view paired with a world-class dining experience, and a complete floor to ceiling remodel of all Mastercard Executive Suites packed with high-end touches.

Furthermore, two concession marketplaces were installed on the 100 and 300 level with Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology. With the help of AI technology, fans can simply enter the stand with their credit card, grab their snacks and leave with the total amount charged to their card.
WHAT’S IN STORE FOR 2024?
When the 2023-24 Maple Leafs and Raptors seasons come to a close, Phase two renovations will begin for the 100 level concourse along with the construction of new innovative spaces.
The 100 level will be transformed into a more contemporary and fan-friendly area that includes screens, beacons and hubs that adapts depending on the corresponding event.
Changes also include an additional Real Sports Apparel store on the 100 level, a redesigned gate 6 broadcast studio, and eight modernized “Grab and Go” concession stands, so that fans can have a speedier transaction and spend less time waiting in lines.

Meanwhile on the 200 level, there will be a refreshed Hot Stove restaurant with a new dedicated entrance from the second floor of the Galleria directly into the steakhouse’s front lounge. An all-new Tunnel Club on the event level will also provide members with an up-close view of players entering the bowl from the locker room as they dine in the arena’s newest premium restaurant.
“From concourse innovations, to premium space design, to the storied art on our walls, it was crucial to us to ensure this Scotiabank Arena Venue Reimagination featured improvements that all fans can benefit from,” MLSE Chief Venues & Operations Officer Nick Eaves said in a statement.
“Beginning with the momentum from the renovations made this past summer, we look forward to unveiling to fans the best-in-class design, technology and overall atmosphere enhancements over the course of this multi-phased project that take our fans’ sports and entertainment experience to even greater heights,” he continued.
The events venue says future years will include more enhancements such as additional fan-facing spaces, back-of-house artist and athlete areas and a complete redesign of the 300 level in line with the 100 level design, among others that will be announced at a later date.
