As summer winds down, Torontonians still have time to squeeze in one last taste of the season with a pop-up that’s giving away a sweet treat and a chance to win a free mattress.
Canadian mattress brand Endy and popular Toronto ice cream shop Ruru Baked teamed up for the weekend to bring Torontonians “The Endy Ice Box,” a pop-up ice cream truck that will be giving away free cones, while also allowing visitors the opportunity to try out the new Endy Elevate.
Endy’s new Elevate mattress includes its cool-to-the-touch design, something visitors can test out in person.
And If they really enjoy the feel of the latest mattress, the truck’s visitors can also enter for a chance to win one of five free Endy Elevate mattresses. They typically range from $1,145 to $1,795 depending on the size selected, so the opportunity allows visitors to potentially have a better night’s sleep, while keeping their wallet closed.
Be sure to keep an eye out for the truck at two locations across the city, with the ice cream truck making stops around Toronto’s west and east ends.
West-end residents can catch the truck on Saturday, at Trinity Bellwoods Park, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The truck is expected to be parked on the north side of Queen Street.
East-end residents will have their chance to win and grab a scoop on Sunday, near Kew Beach Park, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The truck can be spotted at 1829 Queen St E, near Boardwalk Dr.
Both pop-ups are free to attend, although the free ice cream is only available while quantities last, so visitors should aim to get there early to secure their scoop.
