Commuting within the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is causing many riders distress and anxiety as the agency tackles safety concerns, but one young operator turned some frowns upside down this week.
In a video posted on TikTok Tuesday afternoon, a user noticed there was a different operator making announcements on a subway on Line 2.
The passengers heard a young voice announcing the words, “next station is Lansdowne, Lansdowne station.” In the video, users immediately squealed in heartfelt emotion once they heard the innocent sound.

“Conductors on line 4 used to let me and my friend do this as kids,” another user said.

“The operators used to let us do this 15 years ago, was super cool,” another said.

“She’s speaking more clearly than any other ttc personnel,” another person wrote.
“Baby killed it! So clear and precise lol them workers be mumbling like we can understand,” another person jokes.
