It’s a good thing we’re not cynical, because we would have had a field day with the Toronto Olympic Bid Committee’s “Digital First Nation,” a Web portal they launched this week linking all 134 aboriginal communities in the province. A cynic might say it’s all a ploy to placate aboriginals in the run-up to the final International Olympic Committee vote on who will host the 2008 Summer Games. Not us. We think it’s wonderfully altruistic of the bid folk. Maybe they could also0 cut a few land deals while they’re in a giving mood.
