World On A Wire A rare Rainer Werner Fassbinder sci-fi flick from the 1970s about virtual reality returns for a couple of screenings (including one on Sunday afternoon) in a new 35mm print at the TIFF Cinematheque. See review.

Tout Comme Elle The Luminato theatre event about mothers and daughters and starring 50 talented women onstage gets two final performances at the Bluma Appel on Saturday. See review.

LU XUN blossoms Theatre Smith Gilmour’s adaptation of five stories by the modern Chinese writer Lu Xun – and the first Sino-Canadian theatrical co-production concludes with two final performances on Saturday at the Isabel Bader. See review.
