Once Upon A Time In Anatolia Don’t expect much action in Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s legal procedural. But it’s contemplative and requires lots of attention. See review.

Half The Sky: Female Asian Artists Burmese artist Nann Nann answers questions about working as a visionary abstract painter in a traditional, male-dominated society as part of this International Women’s Day show put on by the East Gallery at Art Square Gallery. The four other artists in the show are from Vietnam and Cambodia. See listing.

All Hands On The Archive A multi-venue celebration of queer Toronto – including the Art Gallery of York U’s Will Munro retrospective and the Feminist Art Gallery’s collaboration with UK feminist cinema archive Cinenova – culminates in this closing party with a performance by Sharlene Bamboat and special screenings. International Women’s Day March It’s an old tradition now and always well attended, this annual show of respect for womens’ issues. The fest starts with an 11 am rally at OISE and features a live speech via Skype from an Egyptian woman activist. Much discussion will also focus on austerity moves by the city and the province’s Drummond report. At 1 pm, participants march to City Hall and then on to the Ryerson Students’ Centre, 55 Gould, at 2 pm for the fair. Free. iwdtoronto.ca.
