Film:
Tonight, catch Bill Murray in a screening of Meatballs, and join the writer and producer of the summer classic, Dan Goldberg, in support of Action Against Hunger/Action contre la Faim (ACF). See listing.
Event:
Arsham Parsi, founder of the Iranian Railroad for Queer Refugees (who now lives in Canada), and immigration lawyer Michael Battista, chair of Rainbow Railroad, will join journalism professor Kamal Al-Solaylee at the Reference Library for a discussion about the options LGBTQ people have when facing persecution. For more details, go here.
Music:
I don’t understand the love for this band, but Die Antwoord’s playing tonight. In my opinion, they make music that I feel like my goth 12-year-old nephew would make (if I had one).
Anyway, they’re at the Danforth Music Hall tonight. Fan outfits will probably be more interesting than the music itself. See the listing here.
