Who’s next?

Mayor Rob Ford is cleaning house.

On Thursday, Fordo got his way with the board of the Toronto Community Housing Corporation, whose board members resigned en masse after a brief public tussle with the mayor over City Auditor Jeffrey Griffiths report citing questionable spending by TCHC staff.

The mayor’s also got TCHC head Keiko Nakamura and former TCHC head Derek Ballantyne, chief operating officer at Toronto Build, in his crosshairs. And he’s threatened to unleash Ford Nation (whatever that is) on Dalton McGuinty in the next provincial election if the premier doesn’t come through with $150 mil Ford is demanding to cover city transit and childcare costs.

Meanwhile, back at City Hall, two senior staff in the city manager’s office announced they’re leaving their posts, signaling the beginning of an exodus in the city bureaucracy.
