Here at NOW Toronto, we make a point of providing stuff like daily reporting from City Hall, music videos and exclusive arts, entertainment and culture stories. But our exacting research shows one thing missing: funny cat videos. That’s right, The Internet, we’re getting into the LOL CAT culture. And not a moment too soon!
With I Can Haz Culture?, NOW’s giving away tickets to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s feline musical Cats, opening May 28 at the Panasonic Theatre.
So. What do you have to do? First step, send a video of your cute kitten playing with or in or around a recent issue of NOW Magazine (so we know you made it just for us) and e-mail the link (YouTube, please!) to meow@nowtoronto.com. We’ll post the videos through the weeks of April 29 to May 3 and May 4 to May 10 and ask readers to vote. The owners of the cutest cats will face-off in a final, where the grand prize is a pair of tickets and dinner (runner-up still gets a pair of tickets, so don’t worry). Well also select five random votes to win a pair of tickets.
