Father’s Day weekend is here! And what better way to honour your fathers by bringing them to a fun event where the spotlight is on them. Luckily, there are many activities in the Greater Toronto Area to choose from. Here is what you and your father can do this weekend:

Free Fishing Across Ontario

The province is offering free fishing in honour of Father’s Day weekend. If you are planning to fish, the province is reminding fishermen to follow all conservation licence catch limits and to bring a government issued ID.

“Fishing is a great family pastime,” Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry Graydon Smith said in a news release on Thursday. “With fishing being free this Father’s Day weekend, it’s a great time to get out on one of Ontario’s lakes or rivers and enjoy this wonderful sport,” he added.
