Inside Yungblud’s Toronto pop-up: free ink, secret messages and a must-see fan experience

From free tattoos to exclusive merch and fan experiences, Yungblud’s Toronto pop-up is a must-visit ahead of his sold-out show this weekend.

British musician Yungblud is hosting a pop-up in Toronto this weekend.

If you love Yungblud, you won’t want to miss an exciting event happening in Liberty Village on May 2 and 3. The official YungBbud pop-up shop is taking over The Academy, located at 80 Atlantic Ave., for an event featuring exclusive merch pieces and fan activations. 

The pop-up is in Toronto ahead of the musician’s concert at Coca-Cola Coliseum on Saturday evening, as part of the YUNGBLUD: IDOLS WORLD TOUR.

Feeling peckish? Fans can enjoy the tour snack special, featuring a bacon sandwich with tea prepared and served by Liberty Village restaurant Fox & John’s.

Attendees can get their creative juices flowing at the digital zine station, where they can write a message by hand that will be scanned and included in a zine compiled of different notes from fans.

A phone booth installation will be on-site, allowing fans to hear an exclusive message from Yungblud.

Plus, those collecting ink should head there early to pick up a free new piece. The first 50 customers each day will have the opportunity to get a free tattoo, in partnership with Cult Collective.

The pop-up runs Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. through 8 p.m., or as long as supplies last.

Yungblud Idols World Tour

Fusing rock and punk influences into a powerful, unique sound, Yungblud’s high-energy performances have established him as a heavy hitter early on in his career, earning accolades including MTV EMAs and the O2 Silver Clef Award for Best Live Act. He recently received a Grammy Award for ‘Best Rock Performance’ for his stunning rendition of “Changes” at Villa Park during Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning concert.

Born in Yorkshire, England, the 28-year-old multi-instrumentalist began playing guitar at two years old and was writing songs by the age of 10. Following his early releases, including his debut album 21st Century Liability (2018), he has gone on to achieve three consecutive UK No. 1 albums with Weird! (2020), Yungblud (2022), and Idols (2025).

His music has connected with millions worldwide, driving massive success since he broke onto the scene. Yungblud’s work has amassed over 8 billion streams, garnered tens of millions of followers, and seen the sale of over 3 million albums and upwards of 1 million concert tickets. 

In 2024, he launched his own curated festival, Bludfest, and released his debut book, You Need to Exist: A Book to Love and Destroy, which soon became a No. 1 Sunday Times bestseller. 

Meanwhile, his current North American tour is completely sold out, with the Idols project already collecting more than 500 million total streams to date. The album features six new songs alongside the Yungblud and The Smashing Pumpkins version of “Zombie.”
