A Mexican fiesta is taking over Toronto this weekend in celebration of Mexican Independence Day.

On Sept. 16, Mexican Day Toronto is inviting residents to honour the 29th annual Mexican Independence Day at Nathan Phillips Square where there’ll be authentic foods, drinks, and live performances, showcasing the very best of Mexican culture.

From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Torontonians can enjoy dozens of food and artisan vendors, such as Alebrijes, Casa Cancun, and Churros by Rebozos, among others.

In terms of artisans, Torontonians can expect Happy Faces86, Ixchel Vogue, La Dulceria and many more.

As per live entertainment, there’s going to be mariachi bands, Latin artists, cultural dances and folklore to jam out to.
