There’s mixed reactions online to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s son’s new sultry R&B song. 

Xavier Trudeau, recently dropped the music video for his single “Til the Nights Done,” with some memorable lyrics, like “we could roll sum, we could light one.”

The Brandon Gonez Show recently reported on the 17-year-old’s explicit lyrics, sparking a flurry of reactions online. 

Some people are vibing with the new tune, and giving credit to the budding new artist.

“He has a creative outlet. I love that for him. I’m not hating on him because of his dad, and the song doesn’t sound bad either,” one Instagram user said. 

“I love it and love that he’s finding himself through his own creative outlet,” one person said.

“Chase your dreams kid…there’s room in the industry for him. Sounds pretty good,” another person wrote. 

Meanwhile, others aren’t as much of a fan. 

“Begrudgingly “Respectfully” this sounds like a bad tranquilizer mumble rap, good to cover toilet sounds only,” an Instagram user commented. 

“Money can make anyone an R&B star,” another person said.
