Canadian fans never thought in their “Wildest Dreams” that they would have “Bad Blood” with Taylor Swift but on Tuesday afternoon, the singer announced the dates for her upcoming 2024 Eras tour and Canada was nowhere to be found.
In a tweet, Swift posted the international lineup for the Eras Tour which included the following countries: Japan, Australia, Singapore, France, Sweden, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria.
Canadian Swifties quickly noticed Canada was not included, which makes this the second time Canada was left out of the Eras tour. As a result, fans are in disarray and the anger can be felt through the memes.
The tour first began in the U.S. in March 2023 and may be the most popular one of all from the pop singer as countless shows have been sold out. The Eras tour takes fans through a journey of all her musical eras.
Millions of Swifties tried to get tickets for the U.S. tour that it even crashed Ticketmaster’s website during presale back in November 2022.
In response, the ticket platform said the heavy demand for tickets combined with bot attacks caused unprecedented traffic on the site.
The frenzy put Ticketmaster under fire and lured in public criticism from frustrated fans and several U.S. lawmakers.
Currently, the multi-Grammy award winning singer is still on her U.S. tour. Afterwards, she will begin her international tour in Mexico City on Aug. 24 this year.
The last concert of the tour is set for Aug. 17, 2024 in London, U.K.
