Welcome in the second week of September in Toronto with another jam-packed week of concerts at venues around the city, including Wu-Tang Clan’s farewell tour and Sporty Spice’s solo show at The Phoenix.
Whether you’re looking to join the mosh pit for Turnstile or sing your heart out to Lily Allen’s breakup ballads, there is a concert in Toronto this week for every music lover.
From East Coast hip-hop to hardcore punk, concert lovers will have plenty of opportunities to catch a show or two around the GTA in the coming days.

Wu-Tang Clan

- Where: RBC Amphitheatre
After 34 years, Staten Island hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan is finally bidding farewell with a final concert tour. They’ll be performing at RBC Amphitheatre Tuesday night. Wu-Tang Clan is widely known as one of the greatest hip-hop groups of all time and has been credited with revitalizing East Coast hip-hop. The nine-member group have released seven albums, five non full-band releases, and over 20 compilation albums. In 2026, Wu-Tang clan will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Breaking Benjamin

Attention all post-grunge fans, Breaking Benjamin will be playing at Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre Wednesday evening on their North American fall tour. The Pennsylvanian rock band first gained prominence in the scene with their 2003 sophomore album, We Are Not Alone, which reached platinum status in the United States. The band later became household names after releasing their third LP, Phobia, which was dedicated to lead singer Benjamin Burnley’s various phobias. The album peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 200 and became one of the best selling post-grunge albums of all time. Breaking Benjamin’s latest release was their sixth album, Ember, in 2018.

Melanie C

- Where: Phoenix Concert Theatre
Melanie Jayne Chisholm, more commonly known as Melanie C or Sporty Spice, will be telling you what she really wants Wednesday night at The Phoenix Concert Theatre. Chisholm rose to fame as a member of the British pop girl group the Spice Girls, the best-selling female group of all time. Towards the end of the Spice Girls’ first run, Chisholm kickstarted her solo career. In 1998, she tested the waters with “When You’re Gone” with Canadian rockstar Bryan Adams. She has since released nine albums, with her latest being Sweat.
Melanie C’s show at The Phoenix Concert Theatre is currently sold out.
Lily Allen
When: Sept. 10
Where: RBC Amphitheatre
British singer-songwriter Lily Allen will be bringing (and wearing) receipts to her one-woman show at RBC Amphitheatre Thursday evening. Allen’s musical career began two decades ago with the release of her debut single, “Smile,” which reached number on the United Kingdom Singles Chart. Her debut album Alright, Still, peaked at number two. In 2025, after her marriage to actor David Harbour fell apart, Allen released West End Girl, her first album in seven years.

Mother Mother and Beach Bunny
When: Sept. 11
Where: Sobeys Stadium
Canadian indie rock act Mother Mother will be playing with Chicago rock band Beach Bunny and Boy Golden Friday night at Sobeys Stadium as part of Indie88’s Grand Slam Concert Series.
Formed on Quadra Island, B.C., Mother Mother is one of Canada’s best known indie bands from the 2000s. The five-piece have released 10 studio albums, but their 2008 record O My Heart has been cited by fans and indieheads alike as the band’s definitive classic record.
Beach Bunny is an indie pop band from Chicago who went viral on TikTok in 2019 after their song, “Prom Queen” became a trending sound on the social media platform. After releasing four back-to-back EPs, the band finally dropped their full-length debut album, Honeymoon in 2020, which was met with critical acclaim from the New York TImes and Rolling Stone.

Turnstile

- Where: Woodbine Park
Get ready to mosh your face off, because Grammy-winning hardcore punk band Turnstile will be bringing their Never Enough Tour to Woodbine Park this Saturday. After ten years as a band, Turnstile’s third album Glow On broke into the mainstream, earning three Grammy Award nominations and widespread critical acclaim. Their fourth album Never Enough was even more successful, charting within the top 10 in five countries, including on the Billboard Hot 200. In 2026, Turnstile won a Grammy for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Album.
