Respect The Agave cocktail competition
Tequila lovers should head to the Addisons Residence (456 Wellington, 416-260-9393, theaddisonsto.com) Monday (December 21) at 7 pm to watch Toronto bartenders battle it out in Respect The Agave, an all-tequila black box cocktail contest, presented by Siempre Tequila Plata and the Underground Chef Co. $15 online at universe.com/respecttheagave or $20 at the door.
Stout-hearted action
Indie Ale House hosts its fourth annual celebration of Stout Saturday (December 19) at its Barrel House (165 Geary). Held in two sessions (1 to 4 pm and 5 to 8 pm), the tasting features the best stouts from across the province. Entrance is $15 and includes a tasting glass and two drink tickets.
