Ever wonder what those unpronounceable words listed on your cosmetics mean? Lori Stryker did. After conducting some intensive research – all her multiple university degrees helped – her stomach turned the findings were less than healthful. She took matters into her own hands and started mixing up her own formulas. What started out as a DIY cosmetics project has grown into the 112-product Organic Make-up Company , which launched on March 29 at the OCAD Gallery. It’s that time again, when crafts reign supreme at the One Of A Kind Spring Show And Sale (National Trade Centre, Exhibition Place, 100 Princes’, 416-263-3000).
