Whip it good

Check out Sunday’s (July 31) first Whipped Sundae event at the Rivoli . There’ll be a bunch of artists and musicians doing their thang, but also lots of buyable wares. Make a beeline for the killer jewellery by Judy’s Attic , She She and Pushk . Pay-what-you-can rules apply. 7 pm until close. www.rivoli.ca/2003.

Bra bravado

You know those bras you’ve shrunk or grown out of that are now in purgatory at the bottom of your drawer? Join Christine Lackan , owner of Brava Boutique (25 King West) – which features sizes from 32AA to 52H – during the August-long Take It Off For A Worthy Cause event. During Take It Off, you score a 25 per cent off discount on your next purchase with every gently worn bra donation. The bras get reincarnated as much-needed clothing donations for women in shelters. Last year’s raised 500 bras that were divided between Jessie’s Centre for Teenagers and Street Haven Women’s Shelter . 416-363-1843.
