Phat FAT

The first (non-profit) Toronto Alternative Fashion Week (FAT) hits the icy landscape known as Canadian fashion this week. Touch Lounge (499 King West) hosts runway shows – more than 40 emerging designers are participating – at 7 pm tonight (Thursday, September 29) through Saturday (October 1), and things wrap up with a fine fete in full fashionista form at the Drake Hotel (1150 Queen West) Sunday (October 2), 7 pm till late. Gaga for gala

This year’s glam-filled Pink Bedroom fundraiser in support of Princess Margaret Hospital’s Campbell Family Institute for Breast Cancer Research will be held at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex (25 British Columbia, Exhibition Place), tomorrow (Friday, September 30) from 6:30 pm. Word of advice: think pink.
