Coming from a cushy career at a major grocery chain, in perishables no less, Steven Howard 's returned to an old passion, the antiques business. Since age 12, Howard has bought and sold his way through the Ontario antiques scene, building up quite the collection (not to mention storage bills) along the way. No wonder the stock at Flik and Company - owned by Howard and his partner, Robert Yandt - is so sought after. His attention to detail is staggering. Every step through the narrow Queen East space presents one perfectly styled vignette after another, which leaves clients coming back for more. Come for a shop between November 26 and December 1 and a portion of all sales will be donated to the Teresa Group, a charity that helps families living with HIV and AIDS.
