Who: Sami Jo Komaromi, party gamble girl
When: Saturday, 2:30 pm
where: Parking lot behind the Isabel Bader Theatre
Clothing: “My Guess watch came from my dad Billy five years ago for my birthday. My pants are Old Navy,(Eaton Centre, 416-593-2551, and others). I keep patching them back together. I’ve been wearing my T-shirt for about 15 years. I call it my camping shirt. I have to wear it every time I go camping for luck. I bought my sweater a week ago at Old Navy but will probably be still wearing it when I retire. My plastic bead bracelets were a gift from my good friend Kyle Anne. I found the glitzy sequin hair band on the floor at Casino Niagara. My jacket was made in England but I know I didn’t get it there. I wore it in grade school, and then it went missing in high school. I found it again last year in a closet at my dad’s and swear I won’t lose it again. My shoes are Timberland (Winners, 57 Spadina, 416-585-2052, and others) and so comfortable I still wear them even though my sister’s dog chewed them up. I got my glasses at Hakim (65 Queen West, 416-364-3310, and others). My necklace was from my best bud Kate, who bought it for me with her bingo winnings.”
Hair: My sister’s ex-boyfriend at his Salon Swank (905-984-6279) in St. Catharines.”
My Style: “Old-school, literally. My clothes are so old, I wore them in grade school.”
Into: “When I’m not gambling my savings away, I have a new job as a post-P.A. for a production company (QAF Productions, makers of Queer As Folk) so you can see me scooting all over town.”
