Granted, under normal circumstances glue anywhere near your eyeballs is a dodgy idea. But if you’re getting single, semi-permanent lashes applied – with a vegetable-based glue (which won’t cause blindness but might sting a bit) – by a meticulous technician (who better than an acupuncturist?), the results totally justify the Clockwork Orange-esque means. They’ll last anywhere from 10 days to three weeks if you stay away from steam and oil-based makeup remover.
Here’s the best part: there’s no messy mascara to deal with and they won’t come off while swimming. Only by appointment.
