GREEK BUCK

Rating: NN

Greek Buck is the duo of Shadowy Man Don Pyle and Andrew Zealley. The two have done tons of work in TV and film — including the pounding cut that kicks off the U.S. version of Queer As Folk. No Time shows off that poppy house track, along with some more experimental dance music that, quite frankly, stinks. The disc opens with a seven-year-old kid mouthing off, which continues throughout the song. Few things are as irritating as listening to a prepubescent punk whine, so why construct a track around it? That weirdo experimental house vibe goes on through the rest of the record, with generally crappy results. Greek Buck try way too hard to be artsy. SARAH LISS
