Campaign for Camp Wavelength

There are so many summer music festival options, it can be hard to choose. WayHome or Hillside? Osheaga or OVO?

To cut through the festival clutter and help undecided Torontonians make up their minds, the marketing minds behind boutique indie music and camping festival Camp Wavelength have created a campaign-style lawn sign to help you keep Camp WL top of mind.

“We wanted to do something fun, creative and somewhat tongue-in-cheek to promote the festival, while also engaging the community to participate and show off their Camp Wavelength pride,” says artistic director Jonathan Bunce.

“I also grew up in an NDP household and spent a good chunk of my childhood hammering in election lawn signs for Bob Rae, so this comes naturally and takes me back to my political roots!”

To procure a sign, email contact@wavelengthmusic.ca with the subject line “Select Camp Wavelength.” But if you rent, check with your landlord first to see if it’s okay to put up a sign.

Camp Wavelength takes place August 19 to 21 at Artscape Gibraltar Point. Cloud Nothings, Operators, Young Galaxy, Odonis Odonis, Lal, Brendan Philip, Spek Won, Bruce Peninsula and Casper Skulls are among the performing acts. And if you’d like to get involved in another hands-on way, the camp is in need of volunteers. wavelengthmusic.ca.
