Digital deluge

Digital Dreams became a casualty of last weekend’s dismal downpour when promoter Live Nation cancelled the first day of the EDM festival at Ontario Place “in the interest of public safety and to protect fans, artists and staff.”

Fans with single-day tickets for Saturday, June 27, can get a refund at the point of purchase, and two-day pass holders a 50 per cent refund. Acts scheduled to play on the rained-out day included Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox, Eva Shaw, Pete Tong and Steve Angello.
