Drunk Uncle takes over Rancho Relaxo/Old Laurel spot

A week after chef Davy Love announced his Old Laurel pub/live music venue was vacating the former Rancho Relaxo space at 300 College, owner Donnie Blais has rebranded as My Drunk Uncle’s Pub.

The student-oriented pub is decorated with photos of music icons like the Who and David Bowie, and the menu is as pubby as it gets: fish and chips, quesadillas, burgers and chicken and waffles.

Drunk Uncle had its grand opening on Friday, April 8, and a day later hosted a release party for funk-reggae band the Responsables’ new EP. Love has yet to announce future plans for Old Laurel.
