WHERE Catch him tonight (Thursday, October 11) at the Social (1100 Queen West) opening for Alan Braxe and DJ Falcon as part of Play De Record’s 16th Anniversary . (He’s part owner of the legendary DJ record store.) On October 22 he’ll be at Revival as part of the Fool’s Gold party, and on October 31 he’s back at the Social for a Halloween party. Coming up in November he’s got gigs opening for Felix Da Housecat, Diplo and James Murphy.
WHAT “Party music. A soundtrack for loose morals.” In the past that’s meant lots of rare groove, funk and soulful house, but these days you’re more likely to hear him dropping electro-house. Expect to see the description in quotes above as the slogan for Nastymix, the label he’s launching next month.
