Friends of High Park Zoo 

Location: 1873 Bloor St. W. 

Come say hello to Toronto’s furry friends at High Park Zoo, a zoo that carries a deep history in the neighbourhood. With super adorable animals like capybara, llamas, and calves, you can explore a variety of animal species that will surely leave you saying “aww” at every section!

Riverdale Farm 

Location: 201 Winchester St. 

Visit Riverdale Farm for a close-up experience at their petting zoo, right beside Toronto’s Cabbagetown neighbourhood. This farm is perfect for a calm day out with the family, as it is wheelchair accessible and stroller friendly. You can explore the horse and cow padlock, while also observing the many historical buildings established on this farm.

Toronto Zoo

Location: 2000 Meadowvale Rd. 

Visit the famous Toronto Zoo for a full day of fun and entertainment! This summer, the snow leopard and the celebration of the beloved gorilla, Charles’s life is being spotlighted, to celebrate the importance of these animal’s impact on the zoo. Far Enough Farm (Centre Island)

Location: 9 Queens Quay W. 

Just like the name suggests, this park is just far enough to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, but is close enough to Toronto’s downtown core for a quick and easy trip. This farm on Centre Island’s Centreville Amusement Park allows guests to meet over 40 species of farm animals like pigs, llamas, lamb, bunnies, and more! This peaceful experience is perfect to take a break at, when you visit the island.

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada

Head over to Ripley’s for a day of aquatic adventures! At this infamous aquarium, you will get to learn about species deep into the ocean and see all of its beautiful creatures. This summer, you can get tickets for $5 after 5 p.m. for their Sharks After Dark exhibit to get an affordable deal whilst viewing these carnivorous creatures after hours.
